
Iftikhar Rasul brings over four decades of experience across Security, Fraud Risk Management, Business Continuity/Disaster Management, Procurement, Budget Forecasting, and Administration.
He served as Country Head – Security and Fraud Risk at HSBC Bank Middle East Limited (Pakistan). After HSBC's acquisition by Meezan Bank in 2014, he joined Meezan Bank as Head of Security and Fraud & Forgery Department, then moved to Faysal Bank in 2015 as Head of Fraud Risk Management. He subsequently led Faysal Bank's General Services Department, drawing on his deep expertise in Procurement, Logistics, and Administration, before retiring from the bank in November 2020.
At NAB, Iftikhar conducted investigations into white-collar crime and corruption in both the public and private sectors, and attended seminars and workshops in Pakistan and abroad on combating financial crime — including programmes with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the US Department of Justice (DOJ). He organised training for NAB investigators on white-collar crime and, throughout his banking career, led regular staff training on Security, Fraud Risk Management, and Business Continuity.
Iftikhar holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Peshawar and is a graduate of the Command and Staff College, Quetta. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), certified by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) USA, and serves on the ACFE Advisory Council. He holds a certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from West Virginia University (USA), and has completed e-learning courses in AML and Information Security. He has also served as a member and President of the PBA Fraud Forum.
